Cheri Calcagno, M.S.
As a college health/anatomy instructor and clinical health educator, I speak to thousands each year about how to make positive choices to create healthy lives. As a married parent of four college students, I also know how important intentional, healthy habits and communication are to create a positive home.
My concepts can be used to lead yourself, your family, and your work team to become thoughtful, informed decision makers motivated toward choices that care well for themselves and the community around them.
I have spent over two decades working as a health educator, program manager, and wellness coach specializing in disease prevention, weight management, and behavioral modification.
In addition to being the author of Resolve: Strategies, Thoughts, and Beliefs for Healthy Living, I have written curriculum for college courses, textbook chapters, magazine articles, hospital health education classes, corporate health seminars, and parenting workshops for teen drug use prevention.
With a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Nutrition & Wellness, my continuing education has included study in the field of psychology focusing on the science of change, positive psychology, and mental wellness.
I have worked with clientele ranging from parents’ groups to Fortune 500 companies, all with the purpose to teach others how to create a culture where they can connect, grow, and thrive in their best health.
